Both to the benefit of European and Partner countries, and to the benefit of the EU, making the project methodology and results available. For the PC, the benefits will extend from the PC University system, education, and the health & lifestyle improvement of Egyptian society.
For the EU partners, the project has strengthened their already close links and widened the scope of their joint European Master, very much in the perspective advocated by the EU with the Erasmus Mundus program, promoting the attractiveness of the European educational system and of their own individual institutions and programs. More generally, the project considerably contributed to strengthening the intercultural dialogue and fostering exchanges, mutual understanding & cooperation between Egypt and the rest of Europe.
Two new curricula have been designed and approved by EU and PC partners, and then submitted to the Egyptian Rectors Commission. Teaching of new undergraduate and master courses has started and specific subjects from new programs are already taught and have been introduced in the regular program at Helwan University, while waiting for accreditation of new Bachelor and Master curricula, which will be then part of the regular teaching offer of Helwan, as well as all PC universities.
